A year ago, the owner of 919 Farm House Court in Whitney Ranch called me to sell his home. Unfortunately, values were pretty low, this seller wasn’t interested in a Rocklin short sale, and so he decided it wasn’t a good time to sell. Fast forward one year and he calls me to find out the current value of his home. It’s gone up…about $60K! It went on the market yesterday for $550,000!
Today I had an open house for this Whitney Ranch beauty and over 20 people came through. I expect multiple offers on this 5 bedroom, 4.5 bath, with over 3,700 sqft, 3 car garage and lots of upgrades. Not only is the location great (cul-de-sac lot, over a quarter acre, walking distance to schools, park, and clubhouse) but the backyard is a tropical oasis! It has a built in solar pool and spa, stamped concrete patio, lush landscaping, and covered patio area. It’s not surprising I have so many interested buyers!
As a Rocklin real estate agent for the last 14+ years, I’ve seen it all! The rise in home prices in the last 12 months has been astounding. Values in Whitney Ranch have gone up about 15% in the last year…WOW! This is mostly do to the low inventory of homes and high demand from buyers. But beware…this sudden increase may not last.
