Short Sale Loomis – Sold by Allan Sanchez 
Excited to have closed on this Loomis short sale earlier this week! 5529 Myrtle Drive was a short sale with Bank of America. It’s a very cute house and the sellers got tons of offers….TONS! I’m happy it went to a great, first-time home buyer who got it for a nice price, $171,500!
Bank of America is one of my favorite short sale lenders because I get their short sales approved 95% of the time. I’ve listed and sold well over 100 short sale and REOs for BofA. As the largest lender they are constantly evolving their short sale process. What was true last week, isn’t necessarily true this week. Bank of America keeps me on my toes!
If you are considering a short sale for your Loomis home, make sure you work with a real estate agent who specializes in short sales. Short sales often frustrate real estate agents because of the overwhelming amount of negotiation, paperwork, and requests from the bank. It’s sad to me but I see a lot of agents and sellers give up on short sales prematurely, which usually leads to foreclosure. For short sale success, you need an agent who is tenacious but who can also roll with any situations or problems.
