One of the first questions I usually hear from Lincoln short sale buyers is, “What is short sale contingent?” Short sale contingent means that the seller has accepted an offer.  Now, their real estate agent must negotiate with the bank in order to gain short sale approval.  Once the short sale is approved by the bank, the property is considered “Pending Sale” and can continue much like a traditional sale.  Properties labeled short sale contingent have an accepted offer and are usually treated like a pending home.
